A Change Of Pace For Yassi in “Sandaang Habambuhay”

No Comments News

Those who followed Yassi Pressman’s progress in showbiz would know that when it comes to performing, the talented multi-hyphenate is a sassy and energetic dancer. Case in point, her previous solo singles “Hush” (that featured Nadine Lustre), “Lala” and the Awit Award-winning dance track “Dumadagundong.”

But for her new single “Sandaang Habambuhay,” the actress, known up and down the archipelago for her role in “Probinsiyano,” is slowing the pace down a bit. Veering away from her usual uptempo numbers, Yassi lets her mellower side to the fore with a catchy, lyrical ballad written by singer-songsmith Nica Del Rosario.

The song, a possible precursor to Yassi’s much-awaited new album, is making its presence felt two ways. One is via its music video, which made its debut today at the Myx music channel’s ‘Myx Premiere’ segment. The second is via the song’s inclusion on the upcoming Yassi Pressman-Sam Milby feature flick “Pambansang Third Wheel.”

Make sure to catch Yassi Pressman either on the music video or at the movie tills this February 2018.
