Manalangin — The Juans

In the days of crisis such as the world has currently found itself in, doubt, worry and fear bubble to the surface. To give comfort,  The Juans wrote a song for these trying times and that’s the inspirational “Manalangin.” Singer-songwriter Carl Guevara’s lyrics go, ‘sama-sama lahat ay susulong /basta’t tayo’y magtutulong /lilipas din, matatapos din ang dilim.’ In essence, this is a song of hope with the universal message that it is always darkest before dawn, and that together as one, we can get through the current difficulties. Those sentiments ring so true, and so does the anthemic sound and vibe The Juans has imbued this song with.
