Mercy — Hey Moonshine

Rock band Hey Moonshine makes sure to put their advocacies in their songs and in their latest single “Mercy,” they talk about mental health. “Mercy” is a song about battling depression and the demons that corrupt one’s mind. It talks about the elements a person holds on to — whether it be God, family, or friends —in this state of mind. The song dwells on the struggles to overcome depression and not be another victim of it.
