PhilPop Top 30 List — Various Artists

Filipino songwriters unite! On September 17, PhilPop, known as the country’s premier songwriting competition, released the Top 30 semi-finalists. This year, “Music. Powered by Pinoys,” was the theme that the competition put to heart. Once heard, its clear that these tracks deserve their rightful place in the playlists created; continuously exceeding the expectations of the public and a handful of renowned songwriters in the country.

With the help of Viva Records Corp. in supervising the official recording of the songs, the top 30 tracks were released. Eventually, the top 30 will be narrowed down to just feature 10 tracks that will advance to the finale. The roster of finalists will be announced on October 22, 2018. On November 30, 2018, the PhilPop Festival Finals Night will take place wherein the finalists’ songs will be interpreted by their chosen music acts.
