Starting off with the film’s theme song “Ang Awit Natin” sang by the OST princess herself, Janine Teñoso, so better get ready to have some tears rolling in. These other tear-jerker tracks realize that when love is rushed, it’s bound to end sooner than one might expect, and the other speaks of an unrealized relationship and the desire to float through the complexities of that feeling. Written by powerful songwriters Thyro & Yumi, sang softly by Sam Concepcion, this track is entitled “Bukas Makalawa”. While the other, comes from another strong lyricist backed up by his own flair of soul is Unique’s “Midnight Sky”. As bad as heartbreaks are, sometimes you got to take a trip down memory lane and enjoy Itchyworms’ “Loco”. Another track that’ll make your emotions go up and down is “Inday” by Juanita Romualdez, following a story of a girl seeking that one guy who just doesn’t care about her that way. And of course, you can’t have your heart broken without actually giving your heart away, so relive that feeling with After 5’s rendition of the classic “Pers Lab”.
