It has been five years since The Juans’ formation in 2015 and they have braved through both tough lows and sweet successes. In fact, back in 2018, three of their former members left to pursue their solo endeavors. The remaining band members — vocalist Carl Guevarra and guitarist Japs Mendoza — persevered and carried on as a duo. Eventually they found new members in their church mates – RJ Cruz (acoustic guitar/vocals), Chael Adriano (bass/vocals), and Josh Coronel (drums).

In their five years of being together, The Juans undeniably faced major changes — from their members’ lineup to their shift to a new sound — but these are what ultimately made their rise to the top possible. In the course of two EPs, they’ve produced amazing hits such as “Atin Ang Mundo,” “Hatid,” and “Hindi Tayo Pwede.”

Today, their chart-topping hit “Hindi Tayo Pwede” has reached 47.6M Spotify streams, 62 million total YouTube views, and became the theme song and title of the movie starring Lovi Poe, Tony Labrusca, and Marco Gumabao.

Following the success of their past hits, The Juans continue to release songs that surpass expectations yet still resonate with their listeners in 2020. This includes their recent inspirational track “Manalangin” and their latest single with Janine Teñoso entitled “BTNS (Bakit ‘To Nangyari Sa’Tin).”

Two EPs, countless movie soundtracks, a self-produced concert series, and chart-topping hits — all of these The Juans were able to achieve within five years. For The Juans, these accomplishments wouldn’t be possible without the undying support of their fans, Juanistas. The hardships and triumphs of The Juans has only fueled them to create even more music, eventually becoming an inspiration to their fans.
