Dedicating their undeniable talent and charm, viral P-pop group GAT introduces their brand-new track “Mine” as Ethan David, Charles Law, Derrick Ong, Michael Keith, and Hans Paronda make their smooth moves to win over the person they like.
The fresh concept photos frame the group as much more mature, distinguished gentlemen who wear their hearts on their sleeves. Braving whatever outcome may come from pursuing their muse, that’s when one will know these boys are genuine in their intentions.
An attempt to court and swoon its listers, “Mine” by GAT is a promise toward improving oneself to become a deserving future partner. Completely down bad after falling for someone, the ultimate goal is to make the situationship work enough to establish a special endearment for each other, whether it’s “baby, palangga, my sweet, my love, my honey,” or whichever fits.
For this single, GAT collaborated with seasoned hitmaker and award-winning music producer Thyro Alfaro, who has also written songs for multiple top artists such as Sarah Geronimo with “Kilometro,” and Sam Conception, Tippy Dos Santos, and Quest with “Dati.” He has also co-written official soundtracks for the popular Wattpad film adaptation of Diary ng Panget, while he recently worked on OSTs for 100 Awit Para Kay Stella.
GAT first hit the charts and got their shot at virality through their pre-debut track “Daleng Dale,” originally performed by MMJ Twins and an official soundtrack of the acclaimed Viva One series, Ang Mutya Ng Section E, where the GAT members are also part of the cast as members of the infamous Ulupongs.
