In an impressive feat for the young artist, rhodessa’s hit single “Kisame” entered the Top Ten last week and settled into the number 7 spot on the Billboard Philippine Songs chart marking yet another major achievement in her burgeoning music career.
Originally making its debut at said charts a fortnight ago at number 15, the song has since defied all expectations and continues to rise, capturing the hearts of listeners across the nation. To date the song already has broken through the 20 million stream threshold on Spotify.
“Kisame” and rhodessa’s journey to the Billboard charts is a testament to her song’s infectious hooks and Rhodessa’s knack for simple yet relatable tunes. The song’s meteoric rise began when it claimed the number one spot a few weeks ago on Spotify’s Viral 50 Philippines list, creating its eventual buzz in the OPM scene.
Which Chart Data PH attested when it reported a remarkable milestone for Rhodessa’s “Kisame.” The song achieved the highest number of single-day streams in the history of Spotify Chart PH, surpassing even the likes of Moira Dela Torre’s “Paubaya” with an astounding 454.3k streams in a single day.
In addition to her impressive musical achievements, Rhodessa has also made waves in the visual realm. Her music video for “Kisame” reached No. 3 among the most-watched videos in the Philippines on YouTube, a remarkable feat for a new act.
