After the release of her music video for “Itatama Pa Ba O Tama Na” just a few weeks ago, Donnalyn Bartolome releases a sequel to the track and entitled it “Sabi Niya”.
This is the second mellow track to have come from Donnalyn, as she veers away from her usual happy and bubbly tune, offering a different but still appealing taste of her music.
“Sabi Niya” showcases how much Donnalyn has matured as a singer and lyricist, as she tells a story coming from two points of view.
The track begins speaking about promises that are being made by a man, asking her to trust in him and to not be afraid to fall in love. Then it ends in a surprising twist, as Donnalyn now reveals the reality of how those promises were broken.
