Thank God It’s Friday! And that only means new tracks from Viva Records artists are here! Listen to these brand new tracks by Cassy of PPop Generation, Yumi Lacsamana, and Brisom! Don’t forget to add them to your playlists!
Sing-and-dance group PPop Generation is packed with a bunch of amazing dancers and among them is Cassy. More than her dancing skills and her pretty face, Cassy displays her talent in singing through her solo debut track, “Baka ‘Di Mapigilan.” In this jazz-inspired pop track, Cassy brings her adorable charm befitting for the song’s theme. “Baka ‘Di Mapigilan,” written by Ruth Anna Mendoza, talks about that fluttery feeling of admiring her crush from afar. It’s an enjoyable upbeat pop track that perfectly suits Cassy of PPop Generation’s sweet-sounding voice.
Singer-songwriter Yumi Lacsamana takes a solo route for her latest single “Pangiti-ngiti Lang.” In her previous single, she gave her voice to the OST of the movie Jowable with the mid-tempo ballad “Matututunan Din Nila ‘Kong Mahalin.” This time, she brings life to a pop ballad number written by Kiko Salazar. In her latest single “Pangiti-ngiti Lang,” Yumi Lacsamana sings that there are silent battles hiding behind every smile.
Popwave act Brisom returns with their latest single, “Joan” where they talk about leaving a toxic relationship behind. In every track they come up with, Brisom remains steadfast in their signature ’80s-inspired sound. Aside from the synthwave influence from the ’80s, Brisom’s newest track “Joan” is also tied to pop-rock sounds. This, together with its relatable theme, is what makes the track solely Brisom.
These tracks are now available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other digital streaming platforms!
